Still need a SOD LE and a Dumpster Mutt LE but this is an AWESOME start to a sweet trifecta!!
Just this pic for now but I'll get some user pics up ASAP.

Thanks guys.
I used it this morning for some breakfast duties. It slices very well for a large knife. No doubt the FFG and satin are aiding in that. It's got great heft without taking away from a comfortable balance.
I should be able to do some fire prep later today. Got some things to try with it and a few of my other blades.

Nice! I've always liked that one. Off top of my head only LE Scrap I've got is a YKLE...great little knife.

Btw...FFG and Satin is awesome. I've got a RMD SE (or two) and they are the inspiration for the N2K RMD concept (basically a RMD SE in INFI with some cool differences).

I just traded into a desert SOD to accompany my desert DF. Used it yesterday on a camp out. It works like a much larger knife. I absolutely love that blade. Ran it and my MOAD through their paces chopping all sorts of wood to feed a campfire for 30 people. Both still shaving sharp on the sweet spot. SOD, DF, and MOAD--now THAT's a large-knife trifecta wink

Sounds like you got a true set there DF. Now if your FDM grin just had a Desert color scheme.

Hey DT, Ya know if someone just happened to have a spare Tan handle lying around it would probably fit your MOAD......
