If you are one of the people who aren't getting a day off, sorry. I will think about you while I'm camping.

Wow, how appropriate and touching. I got goose bumps watching this video. Knowing that veterans and active duty have established honor as the highest calling gives me pride beyond description.

With a humble heart, I salute all that have served, and are serving,

God Bless

God bless this country and ALL who have served ! They are why we have the freedoms we have and why some other countries have theirs.

My grandfather lives outside Shaw AFB SC. He served in the Navy SeaBees in WWII. Then he joined the Air Force from which he retired. While in the Air Force he served in the Korean "War" and also Viet Nam. I think I'll call him and say thanks!

My Dad served in the Korean WAR. He saw a lot of combat and was on the 38th. One day (while we was out) his tent got shredded by shrapnel. I still remember him waking up in the night once in a while yelling. AND he was VERY "gun shy". You didn't want to walk up behind him and startle him. He decked more than one person over the years.

I thank him all the time.
