As most of you know the 11 series has SYKCO (Scrap Yard Knife Company) on the blade. Yesterday the kids and their spouses and a nephew and his spouse came over for a cookout. After the meal Nephew’s spouse mentions that she’s heard a lot about these high performance knives I have and would like to see them.

As she is standing there holding the 1311 she says, “I love it that this knife says psycho (SYKCO) on it.”

So we are no longer just Dogs but we are now officially SYKCO (psycho) Dogs.

BTW: is anyone else ready for the Magnum Regulator? Be glad when the order page is working again. Wonder if Dan has added anything new to it?

I've been ready for a Magnum Regulator for years. I believe I've started a few threads on it.

So Spider-pig what do you think a Magnum Regulator will be? 10", 12".....something else?

I haven't heard any mention of it, but I'd like one with a 10" blade. How 'bout you?

Something like a 10" regulator was what I was looking for back in 2007 when I joined the Yard. Of course now I'm hooked on Bussekin knives so I'm sure the Magnum Regulator won't be the last.

I think a bigger blade was the only thing I asked for on my test team review.

SP - I went back and looked at my test post and here the last line: Recommendations: "The only change I’d recommend for this knife is a semi-sharpened false edge on the top (swedge if you like that better). This would give the knife far more stabbing ability. On a personal note, I would really like to have a 10” blade version of this knife."

Ok, there is 3 request for a SYKCO (psycho) shirt of some kind. I'm sure we'll need more than that to get Dan to offer one.

These were my thoughts when I had one. It was an awesome knife no doubt, but I definitely think it needed more length. The handle is so long/large on it, it didn't seem right to me for that blade length.

I believe 10-11" would be about perfect at .22" thickness, that would be a winner!

The cool thing about a shirt like that would be that only JYD's and JYD's in training would understand what it meant. Might scare the sheeple a little bit, too!
