It sounds like it only builds to dangerous levels when you are constantly exposed to high levels. A study cited on Wikipedia states that most hunters have lower lead levels in their blood than most US citizens.

But back to the armor piercing I bet you could make a case for it because copper is going to be harder than lead meaning that if it did not expand properly it could then defeat armor.

Lets be clear on any proposed legislation concerning lead bullet bans. This is no different than any other 2A attack. They don't want us to own guns and they don't want us to hunt at all! There is no creditable evidence concerning raised levels of lead due to bullet production. If we give these clowns an inch they'll take a yard. Trying to make your arguments without researching the facts will get you in trouble quickly.
