I just picked up a tanker gray Dog Bootie with kydex. I'm looking forward to some SYKCO stainless!
I'm not sure how I want to carry it. Maybe a necker, horizontal waist or even on the side of a bigger knife for cutting string. Or maybe just riding in my bag or holding down a shelf.
I'm looking for some pics of how you use/carry yours.

Hahaha, Was just about to post a new topic on this. I Carry mine on a Merc Harness I made with paracord, simple set up. keeps it hidden under a button up shirt or hoodie, but easy to access. after wearing it like this for a few days i've gotten used to the feelin of it on. what prompted me to do this was how I wanted to wear it for my wedding. My Wife is Scotish and I Wanted to wear it as a Sgian Dubh, wich are usually tucked into a sock, but are also worn under the arm pit. Nevermind the Photo dates, my camera died and i just didn't reset it CIMG0460 by speedy517, on Flickr Here's the right side, you could wear it without running it all the way to your belt loop, but i find that doing it this way holds the blade in just the right position for me, and keeps the harness even over my shoulders. i have a knot tied between my shoulder blades that makes it like an X over my back CIMG0459 by speedy517, on Flickr
How 'bout that 1311, eh?

Great stuff d math. Although I would refrain from calling your "paracord harness" a merc harness. I did this once and got royally chewed by a blade forum member that seemed to think because he thought of it first he was entitled to the name merc harness and was the only one allowed to tie para cord into a figure 8... So to save you from future grief and a headache call it a "homemade paracord harness" or something to that effect.
On another note, I'm still undecided hot to carry my boogie, so any more examples would be great to see.

Nothing like trying to say you have the sole right to call a simple paracord rig designed after a shoulder holster your own, then selling them for over $10 each.
That being said, I prefer AIWB at about 10:30 for the HDDD.

How dare you use para without my expressed permission. I knew I should have patented that term. At least I should still have intelectual rights.
Crap, I was was thinking "pair of" not "para". Carry on, nothing here to see...

Heres one I gave a buddy of mine as a gift. I made him a boot knife sheath with an integral clip. ![[Linked Image from i1146.photobucket.com]](http://i1146.photobucket.com/albums/o524/gunfixrjoe/IMG951180.jpg)

That integral clip sounds like a nice idea. I may make a backer plate with a clip to add it onto mine. Heres one I gave a buddy of mine as a gift. I made him a boot knife sheath with an integral clip.

Hmph. I have two Mercharnesses still in the bag somewhere around. I always seem to be carrying a BFK (big frickin' knife) so they are just getting some shade instead of being used. ;-) Hahaha, Was just about to post a new topic on this.
