I am feeling positive about it. Even if it hurts like hades, it may not need surgery. Most rotator cuff injuries don't. I wonder if you might have subluxed it (meaning not quite dislocated), which may hurt a lot and annoy you for weeks, but will heal on its own.
Regardless, get well! Just the person I was hoping would weigh in on this matter, that sounds like good news if that's all it is. Anyways, I'm going to stop playing doctor and just wish you the best......

Go get it checked out, you don't want to damage it more.
Heres to a speedy recovery! You really should get it looked at ASAP as none of us are doctors. It could be something you didn't even think of, speaking of which you don't think it's dislocated do you? Just on a side note, there ARE two doctors here that I know right off the bat. Doc4kids kids and jumpsmd.

I meant that nobody that had commented yet was a doctor, I knew Tbdoc4kids was a doctor but didn't know jumpsmd was. I'm a wannabe doctor......

Doc thinks it's torn. Had an MRI this AM. I'll (hopefully) get some answers Wednesday. Still could just be a strain though which is what I'm hoping.
