I tried hard to like mine but the handle was just too small for the size of the blade with my XL hands. To date it is the only SYKCO I have gotten rid of.

If it was just going to process the deer, then I'd rather have the 411.
If there was a chance I may need it for more than just processing, I'd take the 511.

As much as I do love Mudder handles, I would have to say 511. If I'm hunting, there's a good chance firemaking will be happening. Also, if I decide to stay in the woods longer, sheltercraft may be needed. That extra inch of blade may come in handy.

In fact, I'd rather take a B10LE for a hunting knife than either of those choices. You never know what you might need to do out there......

I too recently gave up my 511. Sold to a military friend who needed it worse than I do. It's easier for me to get another one than him. Yea I gave my friend the 511 before he deployed. I had it for a few weeks before I gave it to him and that thing really grew on me. But I'm holding out for the 411 when the order page comes back up and they restock it.
