Guys I hope none of you were born a minute before or after me, because if that old saying is true then you are a sucker to
As some of you may remember around Easter 2012 I adopted two high needs dogs from my cousin that operated a dog rescue
With a lot of work they have become good dogs with only a few issues
Two years ago my oldest rescued a pup that was about ten weeks old
Although my oldest doesn't live at home we dogsit chance while she is at work
So basically we have 2 1/2 dogs
Three weeks ago my cousin passed away unexpectedly at 39 years old from a blood clot
Last Friday we found out that homes had been found for all the dogs she had except 1 of her 2 personal dogs
She rescued this dog about a year and a half ago from a high kill shelter in New York
The day after my cousins passing he was placed in the SPCA
I can't have that, so Saturday I am going into town to adopt another dog
This dog also has issues so more work ahead
I know that in the end it will work out, and I will be happy I did this
But right now I just think that I need my head examined

Haha, no, it's not your head, but your HEART Bill. And It doesn't need examining, unless others want to know how to become a good person like you are.
And I am so sorry to hear about your cousin. But remember Bill, bad things even happen to good people, of which you are one of the best.

But you are doing a good thing there, and congratulations on adding to the family.

We got Drama home around 1:30 and introduced him to our other 2
Everything is going pretty good so far.
Lana was a special person, she operated a dog rescue that specialized in bully and "dangerous" breeds.
She rescued 100's of dogs from high kill shelters in Texas, California and New York as well as anywhere here in BC.
I got my other 2 dogs off her Easter 2012, she had rescued them 3 years earlier from a few hours up the road.
They are brother and sister, Barry was 7 months feral when she caught him, she didn't catch Baby for another 3 months
