If any of you saw my pics of the river where we go swimming, two people drowned there over the weekend when they got caught in the rapids.

That's a place I have a huge amount of respect for. I wouldn't have dared went into the water up there this weekend. These people did, and it cost them and their family dearly.

Just stoppin by to say hello and goodbye.
Been a REAL busy day. We've been cooking all afternoon. 4 cakes, crock pot full of baked beans, another of pinto beans and 2 dozen eggs.
This is all for a funeral dinner at our church tomorrow.
7 months ago the son of one of our deacons disappeared. His wife never did anything, but his mom and dad filled out a missing persons report. He was a good kid (38 years old) but ran with some bikers at times and worked at a Tattoo parlor.
Anyway, fast forward to this past thursday. A tip was received about a body in a septic tank. When the cops got there there was a body in the tank and could only be identified by dental records. Cremation was the only option for burial.
We're expecting maybe 150 for the dinner after the funeral tomorrow, it will be a busy day.
So my fellow dogs, goodnight and sleep well.
