Whew! SF45ACP and I just got done hunting! Killed 5 and brought back three. We both hit a couple by the barbed wire fence leading onto posted property. The deer went down then hobbled over the fence to disappear in the brush.

I got one in the neck offhand and one a little far back for my taste but it was on the move. SF took the top of one's head off with his 308 at well over 200 yards.

Butchered them in the field and hauled the meat--over 50 lbs of it--wrapped in bags and a poncho half a mile or so back to his truck. Dang am I sore and tired!
