If they already know you then the inteview is just a formality. They most likely already have made the decision and just need to follow procedures for procedure's sake.

The lady in charge asked my why I only put in for call-taker and dispatcher with my qualifications, I told her I didn't want to be like some people and put in for every job on the sheet. She told me that she was going to put my application in the stack for shift supervisor as well.
