hey guys
i am a frequent to the swamp and it was my Bday yesterday and i have cash and would like to get a new knife.
i am looking at the 311 and the 411
is there anything better
convince me.

Do you have a Rodent 4? The 411 and Rodent 4 have blades that are almost identical, but the 411 is MUCH lighter and the mudder handle is super comfy. That should be reason enough to get one.

I have two 311's and one 411 (and am getting ready to order a second). Great knives. The 411 mudder handles rock. If you have larger hands get the 411 as the 311 handle can be a bit small for dogs with big paws. Let us know which one you ordered and what you think when it arrives. Happy Birthday!

welcome to the yard! a 4" blade with mudders makes for a very useful blade. i would say 411 unless you has a preference to a smaller blade. but you will likely end up with both once you are more familiar with scrapyard knives.

Another vote for the 411.... I have several 311s and like them but I would trade off all the 311s to make sure I kept just one 411, the difference is that profound.

I wish they would bring out a thin version of the 311, say 1/8" thick with a full height grind.

I have a 311 and 411. When I bought my dad a b-day present it was a 411. 411 all the way
