Absolutely. Granted we've had a number of incidents with people going gun-crazy, but in reality it's more a societal problem rather than social control. If folks want to kill, they'll find a way

I do get weapons access because I'm an officer in the Army Cadet Force over here. Lots of weapon safety bureaucracy involved though
