Hi Jared, how's the deep South?

It's cooled off 8 degrees! we're down to 88 now!

Been good Randy, it's feeling cooler down here lately, at least first thing in the morning. Can't wait for next month when it starts to cool a bit more, getting my winter garden ready ( well, it's things everyone else grows during the summer)

I'm ready for cooler temps, big time! I like the fall and winter. When we go to Mingo you can see a lot farther out into the woods. Plus, to me the bare trees just look better. When they're all leafed out you can't actually see the tree for the foliage.

Did you have a lot of stuff (quantity) growing?

I'll probably have somewhere between 9 and 12 of each plant ( beans, broccoli, kale( 2 kinds), lettuce, orach, peas, cauliflower, tomatoes , calallo, mustard greens, eggplant) I think that's it. At least that's what I've started so far. Going to build a vertical potato container what can supposedly grow close to 100 lbs in a limited space

All I grew were tomatoes, but they were good. The sun dried (dehydrated) ones are great. A bonus was my varmint jihad that killed 9 squirrels and 3 rabbits. Love sniping them out on the "grassy knoll" from my porch (the School Book Depository). That .17 HMR rocks.

so this is my first post and im not really sure where to start, this topic looked good. I killed my first axis deer this weekend and finally got to get my 511 dirty. It was wonderful and o'so sharp it.
