CPM-3V and CPM-M4 are my two absolute favorite non-Bussekin steels.

Well, a looooooooong time ago, they used A2 "C"arbon steel.....Or dif treated SR101--another "c"arbon steel....or 154 CM....or D2 "c"arbon....
