At first I thought it was stupid to have that on the fixed blade, but as I thought about it I can see it coming into play for several uses.

Actually one summer I used the Combat Karambit when we picked some sweetcorn. I figure we picked at least 500 ears and that knife mede it SO much easier. Grab the ear, pull it away from the stalk, pull the blade up from the bottom and it's off the stalk.

Well my new Emerson arrived today. It's nice. I am not as overjoyed about the sheath, no there isn't anything wrong with it but I figured it would have crisper molding. I'll get some pics up of it in hand in a couple days or so.

Nice emersons Skunk I wouldnt mind the 7 for an edc blade.
