There is speculation on that one. Some are guessing a 611, but I'm not so sure. Maybe an oops knife.

if i recall right the 611 that was shown was pretty much the same as the 6.5 camo regulators that were sold in a ganza some time back.

i'm hoping those are CG muks in sr101 which would hopefully mean plans for a CG muk in the store. if so t

Looks like Eric posted better pics and they do look like 611s, and there's quite a few off them.

The ScrapMuks were a huge hit (coated 154CM),and sold out within the first minute. I got a few, then passed along a couple to dogs who had come up empty. They were lined up in front of me, but what you get depends on which path you take when they open the doors and I got lucky.

The two show specials also sold out, Urban Regulators (I didn't buy any; they were very nice but I already have De-Regs) and a Swamp Rat that I think they called the "Desert Fighter", it was written up on my receipt as a Rodent 4 followed by something, probably "variant". I got three of those and a TaliWhacker LE (#556), along with two Busses -- a thin Game Warden and a longer than normal Hack. I was hoping for that Hack as my first choice, but didn't get to it. However, one of the other dogs did and he hooked me up; it's great to have friends in the yard.

I saw several folks taking pictures, so I didn't this year. The price of INFI has increased, and there were several comments about that. The brain coral-handled Busses were gorgeous, and there was some beautiful mammoth tooth and wood burls, but I tend to buy Combat Grade. I'm very happy with what I got. I'll try to post pics of my haul this weekend, but I'm on a new computer and haven't tried to access my photobucket account in a long time, so no promises.

I wasn't at all sure that I would make it to tonight's sale. I'm working on a project that's not finished and is due tomorrow. I had this week scheduled as vacation and had to push it back because of this project. I've been working late every day for more than 2 weeks, but managed to leave early today so that I could get there, even if I was 17th in line.

The other reason I postponed my vacation is because my boss gave notice in order to work on a startup venture. He's the best boss I've ever had, in large part because he's also the most talented programmer I've ever worked with. He put in long hours, has a very wide skill set, and consistently churned out large volumes of quality work, so I needed to be available for every minute of turnover time that he could spare. In addition to my project being due tomorrow, it's also his last day and I'm not looking forward to trying to keep things together once he's gone -- there are a lot of things that he was the only person who knew how to them. We're a very small IT department for an an international non-profit org and there are some very scary days in my future.

There were some, although they didn't look like the old Vexs to me. The blades seemed thicker and less tall than I remember, and were made of SR101 instead of D2. The handles were also thicker -- I don't think that they were bad knives; maybe my memory's faulty, but they just weren't what I think of as a Vex.
