Went out hunting this AM while waiting for my car. Some lady saw me perched in my tree and called the police. They were pretty cool about it. Checked my ID and hunting license and apologized for hassling me. The lady told them she was worried I'd shoot her dog. She said it looked like a deer. They told her it didn't. Oh well. Hope nothing comes from it with the HOA. They told me I could hunt and just asked me to be discrete. She just looked up the wrong tree at the right angle at the wrong time... so that's your secret to getting all those "deer" you get!  if she was silly enough ti call the cops it maybe you should contact the HOA first just to head off any potential problems. wish i was hunting... yup, "dog deer"  Might drop a line to the guy over the grounds. He hunts back there too and gave me the initial go ahead to hunt it. I worry about stirring up a hornets nest though, especially since I don't know if she's from my HOA. The trail she was on runs back to another HOA. If she's NOT from my HOA, technically she's trespassing

Right now it's 40 degrees, supposed to have a high of 68 today and sunny, so hopefully the animals will be moving around. I know that Patty's shutter finger is itching really bad.
