We just upgraded to a new CAD program a couple weeks ago, and it's really unstable. You can be putting in a call and it'll just disappear.

CAD is Computer Aided Dispatch. I love it, makes life so much easier. EXCEPT, of course, when it crashes.

I've done the punch card dispatching, and you can have it. This is 1000x easier.

We use excel as our traffic logs. Cells for call from, given to, time, and what it is about.
