You need to talk Patty into letting you have a motorcycle. I had one when we first got together. But she had an uncle that was killed on one and some other relatives that have been hurt so she doesn't like them. I don't want her to worry more than she does so.... no bike. No biggie.

That's a little too far to ride on a bike, plus I don't know if it's hilly or flat out there.

Hilly in a couple spots, nothing really bad though. But I haven't been on a bicycle since I retired. Folks around here just aren't used to bicycles and don't think they have a right to the road.

I could (well I USED to could) have made it in an hour or just a tad less. I had a couple nice bicycles I had built in Japan. Paid $1200.00 for my Mountain bike (work and anything around base or to the mall off base if I was gonna buy anything). And a 12 speed "Racer" for exercise and tooling around the countryside.
