The bible says just being good won't work, that still we were born in and remain in sin. The the ONLY way to "Get to Heaven" is to believe in Christ, therefore being grafted into "His" family, his love and sacrifice blotting out our sinful nature in the sight of God.

I believe that man as a species is good, however some men are not I do believe in a universal good that comes from us Even though at times when there have been entire cultures that seem to refute this, I believe that over time they fail because they do not follow those principles My belief, or faith, is that yes. Man is good. Man is free to choose for himself to do good or evil. Man has both good and evil stimuli and can decide which path to follow. But in aggregate, man is good, while in the instance, the individual may not be.
