i was but it was included in a trade i made with him
i didn't loose any money in the deal
But is was the principle that really bugged me
He swore up and down that he never broke the tip, or ever sharpened it with anything other than an oil stone

It pretty much sits in my drawer unused

I have done a few deals with people on different forums over the years
I have only been ripped off twice
Sadly both times by fellow BC'ers

I've become fixated on the micrtech mini manix and thought this might satisy the urge! wink I didn't think I would care for the aluminum handles but they nice. Very cool grind on this and I think it will do great in the kitchen. The handle is about as small as I go, but was comfortable when I was whittling. Think I'm going to de-assist it though.

I like using my ZT 0777 and M390 Military... Thinking of selling all my other folders.

How does the 0777 cut? Such a nice looking knife, but the blade is thick..

Never been much of a large folder guy. Usually just carried small pocket knives or a Leatherman micra.
Thought I'd give one a try so I ordered a ZT 0566 last night. I'll let you know how I like it.

The 0777 is a great slicer and an all around workhorse. The Vanax 35 takes a great edge and keeps it for a long time. Shame they only made a few of them...

How about the Gayle Bradley? I have a mule in M4 and may try that since my ZT0777 never showed up I have some cash left in my PayPal account.

I think Jared has been using a Gayle Bradley a bunch. A lot of people on the spyderco forum of BF seem to love that blade.

Got my ZT 0566 today. Boy have I been missing out, I'm very impressed.
I have pretty big hands but this somewhat small folder feels fantastic. Very solid locking system and lightening deployment.
Now to polish the edge.
