It SOUNDS like it should be a slicer. Here's to hoping. If it is I'll buy one and I just about wrote off medium fixed blades. Then...they pull me back in.

Shotgun, even if it isn't what you call a slicer grind, what with being only .140 inch thick and even though it is a sabre grind, it shouldn't be all that difficult to re-profile the edge to the way you want it.

I know. I'm just a little tired of having to fix knives before they can be put to work. Luck of the draw with any production/semi production blade. Usually good results from Bussekin, but once in a while, one needs to be reground/reprofiled...
