I thought that would be a safe comment in the yard. I do love my s5LE though. I have had all the big choppers. 1311, nmfbm and dogfather. Dogfather is toughest. We took half a car apart with it once in an extrication class just messing around. Edge wasn't sharp after but didn't take much to bring back. Nmfbm was awesome but to heavy and edge holding was ok. 1311 is perfect nice and light and the edge stays sharp as heck no matter what kind of frozen wood I am chopping into.

I am very excited for the potential of the mudd mutt. It may be the first knife I consider removing coating on blade. I will leave coating under the handle because blood and water will be darn hard to clean and keep out. I may use some sort of epoxy or silicon to seal the top of the handle to keep stuff from going under. Though I bet finding something that will adhere to res-c will be a challenge.
