Rolex Submariner is my every day wear watch. It's an '84 model that I bought in '88. My back up is a 59 year old Rolex Oyster date just. It's a manual wind and I only wear it for a week or two a year, sometimes a month.

I had this one "Refurbished" in 1989. New Crystal, band and winding stem tube for $450.00 I only paid $50.00 for it!

Very Nice, I bet you could add a zero to the end of that number for it now pretty easily.

The Invicta I am wearing today is pretty much a copy of the submariner, they are a little smaller than I like but I see they make a bigger size now.

I Paid a grand for the submariner from a Lt Col I worked with in Japan. The other one I bought from a retired C130 loadmaster. He bought it new in Panama in 1955. He had a plastic crystal in it and a twist o flex band. He knew I would do it justice and sold it to me about 6 months before I left for Japan.
