Went and saw Lone Survivor this evening. Very good movie. Lots of action as is to be expected, but a very moving movie. I've been to probably hundreds of movies in my day, and this was the first time that the entire theatre was silent as the end credits came up and as they walked out of the show. Absolutely silent.
I give it a 5 out of 5. Call it a must see.

been seeing mention of this movie. I guess I will check into it. but I'm more of a dvd guy than go to the theater.

Fantastic, I also cant wait to see it on my home 96 inch dolby 7.1 system. I have been known to lose it on people at the theater and with the theme of this movie I am probably more apt to, so I just remove myself from the situation.

Just saw it tonight. I was amazed at how accurately they portrayed events, equipment, and the individual soldiers personalities as described by Marcus and the seals family's.

I have gained a huge liking for Marky mark in the past couple of years he seems to be one of the west side wackos with his head on straight.

Just watched the movie he did with The Rock about a group of idiot kidnappers from a muscle gym...hilarious! And well acted. I look forward to seeing this one also.

Just saw this. Some similarities to the book, but not really. It was good, independent of the book. I got my copy of Lone Survivor signed by Mr. Lutrell and he's a big guy, so seeing Marky Mark playing him is a little weird.
