everyone's been waiting for one since KC. hopefully I'll be able to snag a meaner. I'm glad I've waited. there are only two things I'll spend stupid money on right now, and those are either a FBM with pumpkin scales or a satin or double cut meaner.

not yet, mike. my french ex used to tell me to move to france and make croissants there, but I don't know if my heart's in it for the long haul. I really want to finish school and either do government work overseas or work for an NGO doing aid work or something. maybe that sounds a little naive, but I've gone to some IR conferences dealing with issues in central asia and some of the former soviet republics, and it has a strong attraction for me.

The pumpkins scales are awesome aren't they? my favorite thing in quite a while. I just about crapped when I saw the ASH-1 with pumpkin that ken lunde got, and again when I found out how much they were.
