I finally started getting my plate carrier set up. Not pictured is the Leatherman on the left side and the SYCKO knife of the day one the right. I also have some pistol mag carriers coming for the left a med bag for the back and a roll up bag for the right rear.

I try to cover the basics with my bags; water, fire, shelter, signalling, and food procurement. Actually easy to do considering what is available these days. Needless to say, there is ALWAYS a knife!

I should add that some 550 paracord is included in the shelter category.

I have a couple thousand feet of 550 cord lol

My plate carrier is friggin heavy. I wouldn't wear one if I had to move quickly or for long distances.

That's the next thing on the list. I have most of the supplies just need a good pack for them.
