Well we survived the ice storm. Sleet, and some freezing rain. Last time I take the advice about raising my wipers off the windshield!

Sounded like a good plan but, well they are covered in more ice than the would have been if I had left them on the windshield.

I used to cover my wind shield with a blanket to keep the ice off. I had an old, cheap polyester blanket that I kept in the trunk in a fabric sack. After that, I graduated to a car cover. It was messy sometimes but no wind shield problems and no door freezes, either.

Hey DT, if you're in a buying mood, get one of the GTI folders. It should work well for skinning deer (or OTHER things, It IS a tactical knife after all) and it wouldn't be obvious to the boss that you bought another blade.

Yes, about 1 1/2" since yesterday. Now the colder temps have moved in.  Great WEEK to hibernate!
