So I turn 21 this year and I'm thinking if starting a handgun fund.
I want something to complement my g22 for a concealed carry gun. So maybe a g23 or g27. And also a 45auto pistol of some sort.
But I'm also thinking that a 22LR sidearm would be good for plinking hunting and SHTF.
I'm currently entranced with the ruger single six convertible models

So what's your 22lr pistol or revolver of choice?

SIG P225 is my favorite. Single stack 9mm. It carries nicely.

After your issues with rugers "costumer support" do you really want to deal with them again?

I'm intrigued at the thought of having one of these for a SHTF gun that will easily fit into a pack. Excellent sight radius.

I recently gifted my only 22 auto pistol to a close friend of mine, so now I'm in the market for a new one. Right now I'm looking at the Ruger 2245.

I never thought about Chiappa. I like the 1873 SAA 22 Buntline.

I have heard the name but have no experience with chiappa firarms.
As much as I don't want to deal with ruger customer service.
Those single six revolvers are tanks.

That's a LONGGG barrel SP. That's why I was looking at the hunter. I want a 6.5 or 7.5 long barrel. The ruger 22-45 sure looks nice but again it's ruger and had a poly frame smirk

I can't seem to find a 22 auto pistol I like so that's why is was looking at revolvers.
And then I can be rick grimes on TWD at the range wink

I wonder what S&W is making

I like the caliber options on the single six 22 short, long, long rifle, and mag smile

Single action isn't going to be a fast firing gun though:/

How's the accuracy of the Walther? I was considering a 10-22 takedown
But see a accurate pistol or revolver as a good option for a easy to pack foraging tool.

For my purposes the long barrel/sight radius is ideal. Its the next best thing to being able to fit a rifle in your pack without having to break/take it down.

The walther is good out to 20 or 30 yards at most I would think, we usually use it at 10 to 15 just at cans, I got it so my wife could get used to shooting.
