You just about described the ChopWeiler. Hmmm...thinking...Yeah but the chopweiler wasn't .275 and have a Res C handle.  And the chopweiler didn't have a ultra convex saber bevel...Different knife... altogether.

.275 is too thick for that sized blade; even .250 is stretching it. But a Res-C handle would be nice!

Stretch the Yard Guard to 9 inches, make it in SR101 and slim it down to about .210.
But what would you call it?
