is herbal ice the brand name, void? I've been having a bad case of the old man knees last few days.

Hey din, yeah it is the brand name .... i've dislocated both my knees, tore a ligament in the one, snapped the other one off. With knees this stuff is great ... i'm not sure if it's sold abroad, i'll try find out for you. But it's good, maybe . What kind of knee pain do you get? In the front of the knee, inside the joint, side? and do you get it all the time? I hate knee injuries ... lol

I can only find this link at the moment, i use a gel though ... not the spray ... i'll let you know if i find anything

muscle strains and joints can be hell .... just as long as you warm it up nicely before training, ice it afterwards ... and stretch all the time ... it should be fine. I use something called herbal ice .... works like a bomb on joints and muscles!

I stretch with very light weights & extreme slow motions. Once I am warmed up then I use what I want to use.

My massive problem before was exercising when I was exhausted. That lead to inattention which led to bad form and injury. I like training hard & you only have to bounce an 80pound dumbbell off your chest once or twice to wise up!

Lol 80 pound ... pretty hectic! i mostly use dumbells, prefer them to barbells.

Yeah if you are tired it's easy to get hurt, especially with heavy weights

I wanted to check, these satin finished blades, are they a lot more prone to rust and staining?

Just a heads up, I went to look up that herbal ice stuff. If the stuff I found is the stuff you use (Manufactured by Soothing Touch) & contains Which Hazel, be aware that, in their own words:

Witch hazel has been shown to be a questionable carcinogen with experimental tumorigenic and mutation data.

I strongly prefer dumbbells as well. Less risk of cheating on your form or letting one side compensate slightly for the other side!

Just getting expensive to find dumbbells for bench press though.

Depending on the environment you are in, it is something to be aware of.

I have had light surface rust show up on my Dog Father, however I had been outside in the snow, it got cold and then I had it in the warm house. I normally wipe my satin blades down with rust inhibitor and the exposed edges on all none stainless blades

The ingredients are definitely different, yours just lists "Menthol, Ethyl Alkohol, Triethanolamine, H8000"

While the other one lists:
Carbopol 940
Specially Denatured Alcohol
(> 90% ethanol)
Witch Hazel
Triethanolamine
Fragrant oils & other ingredients
