yeah I would say youtube too, seems easy (I've never done it) but many use it, it must work good (or good enough) and easy.

Do you know anything about whether YouTube uses lossy compression, and if they do, how high of a compression rate? Also, any ideas about their uploading and downloading speeds? Do you know whether they have good policies to respect other people's intellectual property?

Hi guys, Mike, did you check out photobucket as well? I think they do video hosting and at least you can "lock" your account down to keep unwanted folks from digging through stuff

My impression is that PB would not suit me. I've seen them delete people's content without warning for reasons which I did not find acceptable.

By the way, I am open to considering pay sites. In fact, I'd prefer to pay (as long as the fee is reasonable).
