Hi there, Some nice guy will give me oppertunity to own one of the legendary 1311s... Now my question: Having the 1311 comming and a 911 already in the closet - is there a real use for the 1111 in camping etc. or is it just a nice to have blade?
Anyone owning both of them?

I own all three listed, and glad that I do!

You lucky dog, you..
I just have the 1111.. but if I had gotten the 1311, I would probably not get the 1111.
I've got the 911 as well.

Oh.. and I'd say that I think the 1111 is a nice blade to have, but for camping I think that I'd find the 1311 more versatile.(longer and thinner blade)

I actually lean toward the 1311 myself. But since they are getting harder to find, the 11-11 is a good second choice.

I had a Busse B11, the 1311, the 911, the DF, DFLE, a Battle Mistress and the one I kept for a working blade is the 1311. By far my favorite big blade to use--even over a machete.

Sounds like most people who have both prefer the 1311. I have the 1111 and really like it.

I have the 11-11 and like it a lot. It is one of the best knives I've ever had.
