hey 007,
yeah the scrapyard door was one of those cheap a$$ molded interior doors (like those $27 ones from Lowes).....I guess the exterior is molded vinyl?
All my knives had factory edges as i'm not gifted like Horn Dog... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />
The SS4 kinda "bounced" off the vinyl when the tip struck the door....while the Dumpster Mutt pierced through the door with minimal effort....
the Yard Guard made w i d e "entry wounds" and was surprisingly one of the better stabbers....
so i guess tip edge geometry had a major role in this psychotic test! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />
Yeah Vic, the Penetrator grind makes a huge difference... btw nice job on that Scrapper 6 <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I was surprised that the SS4 did so poorly as well. I thought with the thin steel and almost penetrator point it would be the best?

yeah Unsub, the SS4's tip seemed to "bounce" a little off the door....mebbe I should've had another Red bull before the photo shoot.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Awesome pix. Now you need to baton & pry that door to splinters. You have only started. I like to see a fellow dog use their blades. Bully to you!!!
