Three Yard Guards arrived today with no sheaths (they are on back order). I introduced mine to his fellow 7" combat knives. The chop off is next week. ![[Linked Image from i173.photobucket.com]](http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w64/rivershaman/CombatKnives001.jpg)
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

What are these other knives? I can't read the one knife and I figure the one on the right end is a Kabar?

Thanks Dan. I am thinking it may come down to the Gryphon vs the Guard, but the proof will be in the chopping. ![[Linked Image from i173.photobucket.com]](http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w64/rivershaman/CombatKnives002.jpg)

What are these other knives? I can't read the one knife and I figure the one on the right end is a Kabar? The others are the Becker BK-7, Ontario RAT-7, Gryphon Combat/Utility, and the Ka-Bar Next Generation Combat (an older Sanvik version). Too bad I don't still have the CS Recon Scout or the Ranger RD-7.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

This will be a phenomenal chopping test. Great stuff you have! The Ka-Bar is likely the weakest, but we will see. The RAT-7 and BK-7 are known to be good choppers. The Gryphon has a great handle and is AUS-8 steel. Just hefting them today, the Guard has a much heavier and thicker blade than the others. I think the YG will probably kick some butt.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I've never seen a becker like that. Is that an old one or did you do some customization?
