I like the handle on the scrapivore more than my Izula. Its just wee bit longer and that helps.

Feederle, don't know if your interested but I have a brand new unused zombie green scrapivore I'd sell to you for cost. I just never use that one so it could use a good home. You can email me at jpmdro@aol.com.

I hope that was forum"legal" for me to say that-Thanks.

Doesn't the Izula have a shorter blade?

My real complaint with all of the listed knives is the blade length. The handle of the Warden is comfortable enough for the knife's intended purpose but they lack blade length. We've used them for food prep, and they just don't have quite enough blade. Another 1/2" would make them much more usable.

I sold all of my 'Vores because they hurt my hand. I still have FIVE Wardens, but plan on thinning that herd in anticipation of some other small offering. (I just couldn't warm up to the 311 and the 411 is a great knife, but too big for "minimalist carry", etc).

The Rodent Solution was nice, but very "butt heavy". The grip made the blade difficult to use.

I'm going to try out my new Leaner Meaner. This has real promise

Was that you who bagged the leaner from Messer? I emailed him for it after suffering over the knife for a few days and he said it was gonzo. Lol!

On the OPs topic, I love the izula II.

I rounded off the corners on my SV LE and cord wrapped the handle. I'm very happy with the way it feels in my hand now. The Izzy is a great little knife too though, I just prefer my SV.

YES! I agonized over that knife because I really didn't want to spend the money but after looking at the thread, literally 100 times, grabbed it. It should be here today.

This will be my second Leaner Meaner. I use to think "why would I spent $300 on a tiny knife", but lately I've only been interested in smaller INFI (excluding a dangerously huge desire to have a Battle Mistress).

I got my Izula before the Scrapivore came out or I would have gotten a left handed Scrapivore.

I'm a little surprised there isn't more Swamp Warden love here...

I just took this picture for size reference. The Warden is with Spyderco Delica4 and 411.

That's hilarious! You and I burned out our eyes on that one! Monday I was thinking "Maybe I should pm the guy that got and tell him if he doesn't like it to let me know!" lol!

Reminds me of when Jared and I were bidding against each other on ebay for a ratweiler! I drove the price up on him! Ooops!

RN,

It arrived yesterday...and to rub a little salt in your wound...

IT IS AWESOME!

All joking aside, I have it with me today. It truly is a fantastic knife. I read quite a few threads about the "best Busse EDC" and the Meaner series was favored by many posters that I'm familiar with. After getting the first one (which I safe queened) I wanted one to actually carry. However, there are many others that I wanted so I flaked and told Messer I'd take the B4LE instead (it was a little less money). I couldn't handle letting the LM escape so I asked him if I could switch and pay the difference. Being a super guy he allowed me to do so.

If you get a chance to pick up a Leaner - DO IT! I absolutely LOVE this knife!
