Is there any chance of a Scrap Yard sword like the Busse AK-47? The price would be much easier to swallow and this steel would be great for a sword. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />

An AK47 sword could be a good idea but with a PROPER curved blade.. The Busse was too straight IMHO

i like em straight. not sure i prefer em straight, i might, but i like em both. same thing goes with the geometric tip. all gravy with me. only thing i need: more length. 36" would rock so so so hard. how about a zweihander?

The price would be much easier to swallow and this steel would be great for a sword. That'a what I thought. I know a lot of people loved the AK47 but couldn't afford it. And I think Res-C would make a good grippy handle for a sword. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I agree that Res-C would be an EXCELLENT handle for a sword.

but SR77 may be a bit brittle for a long sword? the deal with INFI is its ability to be so hard and not get brittle (and still bend rather than chip when stressed)...

I'd like to see someone break one of Dan or Jerry's knives! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
