Well I just got my first scrapper the scrapper6 and its a sweet knife very solid but I didn't get a sheath I'm sure I ordered it but I guess the paperwork got fudged which totally sucks cause I can't carry it around and there's no were to buy one in afghanistan.I'm about to make a sheath from cardboard and tape. Anyway my first question is should I get the sheath from scrapyard or go for an eagle or specops or something. The leather sheaths that I've seen on here are really nice but I need a combat oreinted nylon one that has a pouch I can put a sharpener in. Any advice????? Also very interested in this new scrapyard knife but I'll make another post for that. Merry Christmas

I didn't realy like the factory sheaths to much, my first preference is leather but I do have a couple Spec-ops survival sheaths that I like alot.
Merry Christmas to you too.

The factory sheath is cheap and cheerful and it won't lose your knife or let it stab you either... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

if money is no object then I'd suggest the "Survival Sheath" from spec ops brand. In my opinion it's the cats meow when it comes to nylon sheaths. It'll hold everything you need, it's well constructed, will take a beating, and will fit the scrapper.

If money is a concern then take a look at brigade quartermasters. They have the Navigator sheath by Spec Ops on sale for 19.99. I bought one a few weeks ago and it's as bomb proof as the survival sheath.

Peace
Jerry

For nylon, my favorite is Spec Ops Survival Series...plus you can get Desert colored one. I own a few and highly recommend them.

I'm about to make a sheath from cardboard and tape.

Sorry to hear about your missing sheath. I dunno if you've seen it or not, but my tutorial might help you some: The new & improved $2 camo duct tape/cardboard RM sheath with step-by-step pics

Nice find.

I hope it will fit my Mini EU-17
