Thanks. The Guard already had a good point, but when I thinned out the cutting edge, it lost some of its needle sharpness, so I put a penetrator on it. Just did a Scrapper 6 for a forum member. It came out good.

Yeah that's my blade, I'm so excited to get it. I saw Vic's pics of the one he did and said to myself "Man that looks wicked sweet, I gotta do mine" but since I lack the tools and skill I petitioned Vic to do it for me. He was totally cool and up to the task, I wanted to pay him something but he wouldn't hear of it.

So here's to Vic and the sweet job he did on my knife. I'm hoping to get it today. I'll post more pics tommorrow if it comes today. Thanks again vic. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

nice

i may have to try my luck w/ that para wrap. about how much did it take?

Yeah I did that, I like it a lot, its got a good grip on it (not that the res c doesn't, I love that stuff) but the main reason I did it is to have extra cordage in a survival situation. I'd say it took about 3 - 3 1/2 feet worth. I like the way it looks too.

Great work Vic! That is one sweet blade Ron! HD is the GrindMaster Funk!!!

We have so many talented people on this forum. Sheath makers, Para cord artists, Grinders... That is what makes this forum so unique to the others... We are self sufficiant and buy or barter amongst ourselves.

Great Place to be!!

Ron did that (TradBowBoy). It felt good. I may do that to my Dog Father as soon as I am through grinding a full sharpened Bowie-style clip point swedge on it. It is taking a while. Thick blade. This will be the King Kong of Bowies.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
