No mowing this coming week. We put in a pool and we’re hoping to get it opened this week but that ain’t happening either.

I'm really glad to hear that Randy, thanks for contacting Ray. I was worried about him.

Just got off the phone with Ray. He’s still as ornery as he ever was. His legs are still pretty much the same but he’s not in a wheel chair which is good of course. He’s still going to Dialysis 3 times a week and it is, as it does everyone, kicking his butt. Other than that they’re doing OK and he said to tell everyone hello.

The good thing about Todd and no rain is that he won't have to mow on their upcoming anniversary.

We’ve had quite a bit of rain here and more is expected today.

I’m getting concerned. I sent him an email last week and haven’t heard anything back. I might call him tomorrow.

I wonder how Ray is doing as we haven't heard from him recently.

Another Good Dog laid to rest. I remember him well. Matter of fact I bought my Dog father from him many many moons ago.

Hey guys. Hope you are well. I don’t know if you remember Jeff Little, he used to be on here quite a bit. I don’t even remember his screen name, but this was posted by his wife this afternoon.

After many years of health battles and nearly 14 years of dialysis, Jeffrey was admitted to the hospital last Tuesday. On Saturday, he suffered a major medical event and his heart stopped for 29 minutes. Since then, he has remained on life support.

After many difficult conversations with his doctors, and surrounded by love from family, the decision has been made to let Jeffrey be at peace and no longer suffer. In the coming hours, the machines keeping him alive will be removed so he can finally rest comfortably.

This has been an incredibly painful and emotional time for our family. We know how deeply loved Jeffrey is by so many people, and we wanted to share this so friends and loved ones understand what is happening.

Please keep us and our entire family in your prayers during this heartbreaking time. We are truly grateful for all the love, support, and kindness that has already been shown to us.

We love you forever, Jeffrey.

I’m really starting to think I may make it a primarily 43X. I DO like that extra grip length.

Patty was having A LOT of trouble trying to sleep. I finally just turned it on even though she said we didn’t need to. After about a half hour it was cooling down pretty good and she was out like a light.

I bought a Cold Steel Arkansas toothpick to add to my collection.

We have not turned on the a/c yet, but it will not be long before we do. We're waiting for a thunderstorm overnight and rain all week.

Dogs are trying to to hide from the heat. We finally turned our AC on Saturday night. I looked at the thermostat and inside it read 85! No wonder the fan didn’t seem to be doin much good now at it set at 75 and a desktop type fan (12-14 inch) it’s quite nice.

WOMEN! They just don’t understand firearms. Took my G43 and G48 to church today to show a friend of mine and told him I actually got TWO FREE GUNS. I switched the two slides around and VIOLA, TWO new guns. A Glock 43X and a Glock 43 Long Slide. FOUR GUNS! Patty argued that no they were only two guns. I guess women just don’t understand one gun morphing into 2, and doing that twice, equals FOUR GUNS. Good thing WE rule the world.

I’m contemplating on making a 43LS (long slide) out of my regular 43. I’ll just take the 48 slide and slam it on the 43 frame. The WTP holster that came with the gun will of course house the 43LS with about an inch sticking out of the bottom. I’m not worried about this, as the grip is the hardest to conceal.

Best thing about buying the G43 is that since I already had the G48 (which makes 2 separate guns), I can now turn 2 guns into Four guns in under 30 seconds. That’s a bargain in anyone’s mind. When you can turn 2 guns into 4 without spending any more money, ya just gotta smile. Even Tom would be happy.

Yep, Randy the 43x and 48 are nice. It will be really nice when glock finally releases the 15rd mags for the 43x/48.

I just picked up a custom 43x/48 frame. I'm not big on the 43 frame, so I just swapped the slide over and love the new setup. If I want a tiny pocket pistol I still have the 43 frame.
