Morning Yard!

I have been busy with work the past few weeks. I have been getting home just in time to eat and go to bed. Not really what I was looking for in retirement but they need the help and the work was different than what we normally do so, it was at least entertaining long days. They treat me well and I don't mind too bad, since it's only for a short time.

My wife had bought us concert tickets for my birthday earlier this year. We went to the concert last night. I really enjoyed it. I haven't been to a concert in years.

I already have a few spears and I prefer about a 6 foot long shaft connected to a socket style spearhead. But these are nice for what they are intended to be used.

They would be nice I think. Strip off the Res C bolt it to a 4 ft handle and you’re Good to go.

Good evening Scrap Yard. I see that Jerry is releasing two versions of a Boar Spear tomorrow ; a BCK model and a Scrap Yard model. They look nice for those interested.

Haha, not quite. But not far from 1/2 over these last 6 months.

You probably spent enough on guns to get an underground storm shelter for tornadoes and such.

Nope. Got one the first go around. Swapped JJ my Dogfather for one with a JJ original Kydex sheath. Both are still going strong.

Besides I’m concentrating on boom sticks right now.

We made it just fine. They removed 6 polyps and the Doc said everything looked fine, see you in 3 years.

Good afternoon Yard. We finally received some rain and cooler temps ; neither will last long but they are certainly welcome. They help reduce the danger of wildfires which has really been high around here.

I think I'm going to go for a 911 tonight ; slightly different due to a squared off choil as opposed to a round one. Sale starts at 8 p.m. CST, 9 p.m. EST.

Randy, stay safe and vigilant while you're there, and here's hoping the doctor doesn't find anything for Patty.

Jerry is re-releasing the Scrap Yard 911 tomorrow ; it's a great knife at a great price. Get one if you don't already have one.

Oh, we made it to St Louis safe and sound and have barricaded ourselves in our room

Afternoon Yard!

I'm enjoying our cooler weather it was 39 this morning. I'm hoping the yard is dry enough to mow soon.

I have been avoiding leaving the homestead since the State Fair is in town and traffic is not nice.

I had some guy run into the side of my truck this morning with his trailer. Then he refused to stop.

Thankfully it hit my rear tire and the step and didn't get into the body of the truck.

Nothign knife related except I kinda want to pop the tires on his truck but I have managed to refrain

Sure is quiet around here. I hope things will liven up in the Yard ; it would be nice to hear from some of our fellow Dogs.

Hot here as well, but I got the plants watered anyway.

I bought a Becker limited edition BK 25C along with a Jarosz Turok camp knife.

Got my Cardio rehab done for the week and had to go to Walmart. Then had to drag everything inna house. It got up to 105. I M Whupped.

She won’t go. She doesn’t like leaving a tip!
