Thanks guys. It was a good visit and I really liked the doctor. After the hearing test he explained that there is some nerve damage, and he sized me up for some custom hearing aids that I will receive from him next month. He compared today's test with my last one and it showed a definite decline in my hearing, so it was a very good visit. We decided to skip Costco today and went to the nearby Arby's instead, which we both really like.

Morning Yard!
Another Cooler day. I am really surprised that it has been this warm for this long here. Usually, winter is in full effect. If we have had days lately where the highs were below freezing I don't remember it. We ahve had snow a few times but it's always been at least mid 30's to low 40's on the days it snowed.
Today is going to be an errand day.

After my trip to the range. I have to say I'm glad I decided to build/assemble a pistol. I have never done a complete frame-up build.
It performed very well. I can't complain about the performance at all. So far it's been reliable, It's accurate even though I need to tweak the sights. The ergonomics are far better than the stock pistol that it's based off of. So far it has exceeded my expectations.
One of the coolest things is I paid less than $350 for all the components parts. To buy a comparable pistol on the regular market would be about $1200 bucks. I really like how it shoots so far. I could see this being a really fun one for steel challenges.

It's snowing a bit. It's probably not going to amount to much except making things damp. It's about 32f and not going to change much with a high of 34 today.
I may take a trip out to the range to test out a pistol I built//assembled.
