Dan, if I recall correctly, the Danner Ft Lewis boots are made in the USA and are the top of the Danner line.
My dad got them for me back when I joined the Army - they were about $300 then, as I recall.
They are GREAT though. I wore them all winter near the DMZ in Korea and had nice warm feet! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
