Thanks guys. I do have that old but very good pioneer amp and a 12 inch Phoenix Gold amp from my truck. I used to be really into car stereos so I know what I am doing with the speakers and my jury rigged surround sound works really good.
In order to get around having an unpowered sub I used both sub outs, ran it through something(I forget what it's called)that gets rid of all the highs and mids and to the sub. It actually pounds pretty good. I do still need a good centre speaker. I think a good centre is at least as important as the sub because that is what all the voices and really most of the movie is coming from. I have my gear in the master bedroom which is pretty small so the fact that the car speakers are designed for smaller spaces works well.

All I really need is the projector and a first rate video card for my PC.

Maybe an LCD or even a rear projector TV instead depending on what deals are out there. I like how you can use as projector in both a small or large room though.
