I'd much rather wait and get a knife with a fixed guard, than have the current version released. Unless there's metal hidden inside that guard, which I doubt....
The other specs are less important to me, even though I strongly dislike the saber grind, but the weak guard is just terrible. Not at all what I want out of knives that are marketed as hard use.
+1 MM,With all the Swamp has coming,plus 2 knives from BCK I'd rather Dan wait and get it right.
