I've never heard Dan differentiate a Muk from a Muk LE regardless of handle color or imprint. All Muks are limited editions as are all Bird Dogs.
If that's the case, why are any of them numbered at all?
(Bird Dogs are even more limited than Muks in that they were never released, i.e., sold through the company store.)
Even though Bird Dogs weren't sold through the company store, that fact alone doesn't quantify the number produced. Only actual production numbers can support how limited a model truly is.
