Getting out our frustrations is good. And who better to "Gripe" to than those who understand what you're talking about.

I've been there as well Jason, as a buyer and a seller. But the more times a "Secondary market" blade has been sold the more it's gonna cost. Just like below.

ORIGINAL BUYER
Original cost 100.00
S&H 12.00
TOTAL 112.00
---------------------
SECOND BUYER
above prices 112.00
plus ten bucks 10.00
anything else 25.00
plus S&H 12.00
TOTAL 159.00
---------------------
THIRD BUYER
All the above 159.00
cost or ten 10.00
anything else .00
S&H 12.00
TOTAL 181.00

It all adds up in a hurry. I went to buy something once and realized it went just about like my example. And I said I ain't gonna pay half as much again as the original cost, that's to much of a markup! (it wasn't a knife) All I was looking at was the ORIGINAL cost and how much it was gonna cost me to get it to me. I didn't take into account all the other charges, that the seller has every right to recoup.

Like I said, I've griped and complained and will do it again, but we (YUP ME) sometimes forget how many hands it has passed through before it lands in ours.

Maybe this will help you out some, I know it has me just by typing it!

Now don't get me wrong, there are some scalpers out there and personally I think they should be avoided like the plague! But most of the folks are not trying to take anyone.

AND I don't think any dog here will, at least intentionally, take advantage of another dog.

I hope this doesn't sound like a sermon because it wasn't meant to be, just an
explanation.

Oh, one last thing. It doesn't matter what something cost, IF YOU are satisfied with the price you paid, then that is all that matters. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
