I brought a "Trio" to work tonight to just admire and fondle. YES folks, it is permissible to fondle your knives. Your gun, not so much. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Anyway, I was just comparing the blade lengths after lining up all the lades with the handles all lined up all in inspection order.

Here's what I got on my cheapie plastic ruler. I did use the Website numbers for the blade thickness.

Scrapmax
Blade length 3 13/16
Blade thickness 0.090 Or 1/11 of an inch
Knife OAL 8 5/8

Mud Puppy
Blade length 3 3/8
Blade thickness 0.187 Or 3/16 of an inch
Knife OAL 8 5/16

311
Blade length 3 1/2
Blade thickness 0.187 Or 3/16 of an inch
Knife OAL 7 15/16

As I said, this is measuring from the point back to the most forward part of the Res-c Handles.

As we all know there will be variances in each individual knife due to the sharpening process. Seeings how (I think) they are all sharpened BY HAND the amount of pressure applied will have an affect on the blade length, especially when approaching the tip.
