Once I buy the rifle I will still need to buy a scope, which will be the first non-open sight I have ever purchased. I don't know squat about scopes so I will be asking for advice on this when the time comes.

I'm still going back and forth over putting that M2 Super 90 on layaway. I haven't seen an M1 Super anything for sale anywhere, even online... so I might have to settle for the underbuilt version.

Benelli isn't even selling M1s anymore, it's off the catalog frown

There's a vendor at the PX who sells Paracord slings. Was thinking about grabbing one of the Collars she makes for my dog in Neon green and yellow. I personally prefer my Magpul MS3 though for sling work. I could see a paracord sling if I'm hoofing in the woods and might need to improv a shelter, but not for tactical shooting /:I

except now I looked at your link, Randy, lol... I am intrigued smile

Yep been trying to find one for a while now. I look at is as multi cal weapon for BOB. For shotguns I'd like a para cord sling but for rifles is single point or my tactical intervention sling for rifles.

Plus with 22lr so hard to find and shorts and mags available I thought it was better than a strictly 22lr weapon.

Filled the Pilot with 3 rifles and 4 pistols, enought earmuffs and saftey glasses for our group of seven. Ammo, targets, cleaning kit where added and off we go to the gun club we just joined. Only to find the pistol/rifle range was closed due to a pre-planned skeet competition.

The three Grandkids were greatly disappointed.

That DOES suck. I hope you guys were able to find something to do.

The local gun club here has at least a 1 year waiting list. I guess I had better get on the list.
