The aren't bad. Its a trade off between that and the Aimpoint. I really like the T-1 micro as well.

I got a very good deal on that one a few years ago. $369 and we use the same model at work so I'm used to them.

The t1 is around $600 bones.

If I was going aimpoint Bang for the buck I would go for the patrol optic though. About $426.

So its a really hard to choose. Aimpoints are easier to use because they don't have a tube and seeing the 65moa ring is cake with both eyes open and no tube.

Aimpoint has crazy long battery life though and are generally tougher units.

Eotechs you just have to keep spare batteries and check them every few months. No a big deal for me since the use 2 AA batteries.

There isn't enough on the Aimpoint side to make me part with that much money to switch from what I already have.

See I really like the AA and the savings as well but then I hear about how much better the aimpoint is overall and don't even get me started on the Trijicons lol

I can get the Eotech for 350, the patrol for 375, and the Trijicon reflex for 377 for the 24mm and 450 for the 42mm . So money wise the Eotech is the best deal but not by much.

If I won the lottery I would love to get an Elcan.

A patrol for 375 is a great deal. Are they AA? If so that would be the way I would lean if I didn't already have one.

Unfortunately it takes a little button battery at 7 bucks a pop.

Price wise they still beat Eotechs for battery life. Eotech beats them with availability though. You can get AA everywhere.

Odd as it is all my flashlights are either rechargeable or CR23's. I finally gave up and started buying in bulk.

That is where the trouble comes in easy to find batteries needed more often or hard to find ones that last a long time or trijicon with no batteries.

LOL, that's why the two are so danged hard to decide between. I need to be sponsored by Aimpoint. I'm not sure what I have to offer them though.

I just laid away a neat little gun at the local pawn shop. It's a Norinco copy of the Browning ATD .22 semi-auto. I've lusted after the Browning for years, but I just can't pay $700 or so for a .22 lr.

I picked up the Norinco for $150. I didn't have the cash to get it, so I took out what I had in my wallet and laid it away til I can get back to pick it up. I can't wait to give it a whirl.
